I feel ab exercises in my lower back instead of my abs Posted: 06 Aug 2020 03:18 AM PDT Hey guys, pretty much as the title says. I seem to feel most ab exercises I try (except planks) in my lower back rather than in my abs. Usually I feel the burn in my abs for a bit before my lower back takes over and I stop. I've heard this could be because I'm hip flexor dominant or because my core is just too weak so that my back takes over. Has anyone experienced and overcome this? [link] [comments]
Sometimes my left tricep starts to pulse by itself Posted: 06 Aug 2020 12:08 PM PDT If I don't move my arm my left tricep around short head starts to pulse by itself. If I move my arm it stops. I've also had some elbow pain and am taking a week off. Any idea what it is [link] [comments]
| Will this kind of exercise help? Posted: 06 Aug 2020 12:12 PM PDT Hello guys, I have recently switched to a new job that leaves me really low on time along with my personal stuff. I was following the recommended routine but I really need to switch now unfortunately, is it okay if I do these two workouts at home (First workout is 4x pull ups + 4x push ups + 3x squats || Second workout is 4x dips + 4x horizontal rows + 3x squats) changing it every other day. All exercises are weighted in some way so I can do ~10 reps max. Is the volume enough to build muscle? Any help appreciated! My goal is just to stay healthy and fit, while building muscle at the same time. [link] [comments] |
Just did a proper front lever! Posted: 05 Aug 2020 09:46 PM PDT I just did a front lever with proper form. I have a pullup bar next to a mirror so I can check out my own form and it looked perfect. Around a month ago, I first attempted a full front lever. I was able to do it but the form was poor. So I started training front lever 2 times a week, doing 20 reps and alternating between max tuck front lever hold and advanced front lever. I progressed rapidly and a month later, now I'm finally able to do a full front lever. Now my focus is on Planche and muscles ups 💪 [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Aug 2020 08:42 PM PDT Hi all and thanks in advance to all who respond, if anyone. I'm 68 (wow, don't know how that happened :)) I am 6'1, and weight about 165 on you. My body fat is around 20% but that's measured by my scale, so not perhaps accurate. I wear a 33x33/4 pant and do a large shirt. I feel completely stale and toxic, I have not exercised in 15 years or so. I don't feel fabulous about life, but it's not time to go. Here is what I thought; start walking semi-briskly on a daily base to the point I can walk longer distances. Follow this up by a walk/jog routine. As I feel I can do this with out passing out I want to try lunges, body weight only. Follow that up with some crunches and try to work in some push-ups. I remember doing tricep dips using a hotel chair, and at one time had been able to do a more-or-less horizontal planche for a whopping minute. Any suggestions as to books, manuals, U-Tube ways i can educate my self? Many Thanks [link] [comments]
