| Determining your calorie needs Posted: 04 Jul 2020 09:41 PM PDT I will preface this by saying that I am not overweight. But I am trying to lower my body fat percentage. As someone who is fairly new to lifting and eating to be healthy (not dieting). How do I determine my body's calorie needs so I can consistently lower my body fat while also still being able to build more muscle and recover from my workouts? I know the online calculators are bs but I do not know how I can seriously figure this out. Would I need to know what's body fat I am at to determine this bc lean tissue causes more calorie needs?
