    HEY YOU,

Have you taken any recent pics of those sweet gains, your human flag, or those handstands off the wall you're finally holding?

Note that we aren't limiting you to what we're discussing on the FAQ. Show us anything that blew your mind the moment you realized you had it. This may include aspects of: gymnastics, climbing, parkour, weight loss/gain, posture, etc. They are all more than welcome in this thread.

We also want to remind you that we've been sharing your content on @redditbwf on both Instagram and Twitter. Help us grow our sub's social media in order to reach out to non-Redditors across these other platforms!

Local news is telling me not to exercise even indoors with the smoke in the air.

    Posted: 13 Sep 2020 09:10 AM PDT

I'm in the thick of all this bad forest fire air. The local news says exercise, even indoors, is bad for your health right now. I have a big air purifier unit inside. Should I?

DAMN, good sleep and recovery feels GOOD as heck...

    Posted: 12 Sep 2020 12:46 PM PDT

Hit the narrow-grip chinups again today. Decided I was "cheat" a little less and do slower reps. Not only did I hit my max but I checked the scale and my weight was also slightly higher than usual (water/food).

2 days ago I was knocked out cold from post-work fatigue/food coma. Slept what felt like nearly 9-10 hours. Today I woke up after 7hrs without feeling the need to sleep anymore than that.

I'm further leaning towards sleep being practically at the top above all else in terms of necessities for strength-building.

    Tips for increasing pullups

    Posted: 13 Sep 2020 12:23 PM PDT

Tips to go from one pullup to two if anyone can write down a routine that would be better. Currently i can only do one close grip pullup and im not sure how to progress to a wider grip one because when i do the close grip one it just mostly works my forearms so yeah. Are there any other regressions other than just negatives?

Glute exercises which don't strain the lower back

    Posted: 12 Sep 2020 10:03 PM PDT

I've been doing glute exercises for the past few months (hip thrusts, weighted kneeling squats, etc.), and finding that, while they work the glutes, my lower back is ending up sore. Is this usual? If so, can anyone recommend glute exercises don't involve the lower back so much? Or maybe my technique is faulty?

I'm also keen to avoid any exercise which would cause mass to be added to my legs.

I tried to gain weight and I gained too fast and I'm scared now.

    Posted: 13 Sep 2020 07:05 AM PDT

I have already dealt with an eating disorder. Now I'm trying to eat more and to perform the recommended routine but I'm panicked because I gained 2-3kg and this is just too fast. Is this because of the routine ? I'm 15 yo and I'm 55-56kg instead of 53 kg normally and I'm 1m78 tall. I'm afraid people will notice in high school tommorow. (I tried to be the most honest with you guys and myself) Please help !

    Lean strength

    Posted: 12 Sep 2020 09:23 PM PDT

I was wondering how I should go about being lean but really really strong, my body type is similar to Bruce Lee's, but I don't want to be bulkier or too much bigger, I just want to be really really strong at my physique, are there any tips for this?

I go to the gym 6 days a week and do split up my workouts throughout the week by body part, can anyone help with this?

By "really really strong" I mean like strong man level(Brian Shaw), but I don't want to get as big and bulky as them.

Current stats Bench 315 Squat 405 Deadlift 405 I can do planche and handstand push-ups for reps and working out and muscle up, I just don't know what else I can do to become stronger

I just don't know how I'm suppose to get to the next level without getting bulkier anybody who can help that would great:)
