| I work a very physical construction job and don't have energy to workout Posted: 12 Aug 2020 02:39 PM PDT So I've been working out on and off for about 2 years now. I used to swim as a sport but had to stop because of job commitments. I'm a floorlayer for context so my day consists of lifting heavy bags of cement up stair cases or across long distances in a building and wheeling heavy rolls of flooring doing the same and ripping up old flooring which has been stuck down with a strong glue so it's a pain to get up. I also find it hard sleeping. I only really get 5 hours sleep at most so my recovery isn't exactly optimal for lifting weights. I've tried different types of workouts, volumes and splits to fit my lifestyle and I just haven't got the energy for it. So I'm basically just thinking of giving up on lifting weights and bodyweight altogether. I'm not interested in looking big anyway. I would obviously still eat healthy and eat a high protein diet and maybe go for runs but that's it. So do you think that with the sort of physical job that I do and healthy eating that I could build a good physique? [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 13 Aug 2020 12:20 PM PDT Hi guys, I want to share this video with you where you will see one advanced rings chest routine. Description In this video you will see one killer chest rings workout. This is an advanced routine that will push you chest to the limits. By doing muscle ups, dips, push ups and flies you will be able to engage your chest more than ever. Using rings will just give you additional resistance, where you will need to activate your stabilizers in order to perform each move. Your chest will feel the burn! Exercises: -5 Muscle ups -5 Bulgarian dips -10 Regular dips -5 Half iron cross -10 Chest flies -10 Archer push ups -10 Wide push ups -10 Regular push ups -10 Reverse chest flies Do 2 rounds. | Recommended Routine for Anterior pelvic tilt ? Posted: 13 Aug 2020 11:49 AM PDT I am following the RR for about 3 weeks so far and I have anterior pelvic tilt. I was wondering if is the RR enough to fix my anterior pelvic tilt? I don't have much time for additional stretches for APT. I've seen some YouTube videos on this subject and they all seem to be advicing stretches twice a day. So, if I follow the RR religiously, count my calories and progress, will my APT get cured ? | Posted: 13 Aug 2020 12:09 PM PDT Currently I work out every other day, and I have no specific diet besides eating whatever's in my kitchen (if you have diet advice for muscle gain that'd be helpful). My typical workout is 3 sets of 10 pull-ups, 3 sets of 20 squats, 3 sets of 15 push ups, 3 sets of 10 horizontal rows then 3 sets of 1:30 planks and 3 sets of 35sec wall sits. | Posted: 13 Aug 2020 12:45 PM PDT I'm just starting out in the gym and currently can't do chin ups or pull ups, I'm going to work on negatives but was wondering if it's better to get good at chin ups which are slightly easier first and then progress onto pull ups or if I should just go straight for the pull ups [link] [comments] |

Can any one recommend a good diet for some 1 trying to gain muscle mass? so far not gained or lost any weight... my specs:

| R/bodyweightfitness, Help me design a Push up routine Posted: 13 Aug 2020 09:01 AM PDT Disclaimer: I already do pull ups(which are really damn hard for me already), so don't waste time telling me to do pull ups to avoid muscle imbalances I have been working out for 2 years now and push ups have been one of the biggest exercises in my routine. Now, since 70% of my time spent working out has been spent on doing push ups only, they have become easy for me. I can do more than 100 push ups, heck i think if i try, i can reach 150 reps to failure. Heck, if you tell me to drop down and do 20 or 30, i can give you that in 20-30 secs. Alongside strength and muscle-building, i like to do high reps of push ups, squats etc for endurance, stamina and mental toughness. Since the normal push ups are easy, i have tried different variations. DIAMOND PUSH-UPS, way too easy just like the standards. I can do 100 of even diamond push ups. I have researched different variations and here are the list of what i CAN do(not gonna write all of them, list will be a little too long): Diamond Push ups, Prowler Push ups, Pancake/Tiger, Explosive Push ups, Rolling Plyo, Split Squat Push Ups, Pike Push Up, Psuedo Planche, Archer Push ups(working on it, but hopefully i can master them in a week or two), Spiderman push up, Clapping Push ups, and probably every single push up variation in Athlean X's video "33 Push up variations" Beginner sections and half of the variations in the intermediate and some in the advanced. What i usually do nowadays is do 100 push ups with 10-15 reps of different variations of the push up, like for example in the start i do 10 standard, then 10 prowler, 10 explosive, 10 diamond etc. I dont reach muscle failure in these variations i described above in the 5-12 rep range though they ARE a little difficult for me to do. The number one principle in any training, whether bodyweight or free weights, is progressive overload. I need the workout to be harder and what i usually do nowadays as stated above is a little hard but not hard enough in my opinion. So r/bodyweightfitness i need your help in designing a push up routine that works my chest and all THREE heads of the triceps, especially the Long head that is very much neglected and i especially need my shoulders to be worked out good enough as well. I also need some new different variations. And oh, another note: just bodyweight, i dont have rings or any other equipment. [link] [comments] |

There were lots of fitness YouTubers but they had hundreds of videos that were 10-20 minutes long but it had very low depth, I didn't learn much. Oahs takes time and requere practice a lot and other hand strength training is important too but how we can combine them when you have busy life and have only 1/2 hours a day to workout?
