Is the Recommended Routine the most effective routine I can get for free?

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 02:39 AM PDT

    Hello,

    I am a 5"2 guy and I weigh 45 kg at 20 years-old (quite embarrassing).

I have been following the Recommended Routine for about two weeks now, so far I feel like I have slightly more flexibility than before starting the routine and I progressed to pull-ups after week 2. I'm not sure if I see visual improvements but I'm pretty sure it is too early to care about that anyways.

I would like to focus mainly on my arms and abs. Am I going to notice improvements on these parts with the Recommended Routine? Or are there better routines out there for free for that purpose?

    Thanks.

Routine Questions for an Interesting purpose

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 10:43 AM PDT

    Hello guys,

I am trying to build a routine for an atypical practice. I participate in a certain medieval combat group engaging in fencing, steel fighting, and armoured combat.

I have a kettlebell, pull up bar, a heavy bag, and indian clubs. I am trying to avoid the gym for obvious reasons for the foreseeable future.

I am going to do simple and sinister for the kettlebell part, some exercises with the indian clubs, and HIIT heavy bag cardio.

What should I add as far as bodyweight exercises?

    Thanks! :)

Accidentally bought unflavoured protein powder give me some ideas on how to make it more palatable!

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 11:27 AM PDT

Thankfully I only got 1kg, because I thought "if I don't stick to working out, at least I haven't spent loads of money", but turns out I forgot to choose a flavour before ordering because I'm a complete idiot.

Cardio Training or Strength Which is best for losing weight loss fast

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 11:21 AM PDT

    Hi Guys,

I am confused, Which is better for weight loss Cardio Training or Strength Training specially for Women.

I have seen most of the women doing just Cardio

Can we not get fast results with Strength weight training if we only do it

    Why Cardio is always required

    What if we skip it

What is ratio of success with both

    I need expert voice

    thanks

    Running out of "energy"

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 11:09 AM PDT

I have been following the RR for a few weeks now. In the beginning, I felt pain and sourness in my muscles after every workout and on the rest days. Right now what limits my reps is that my muscles are "tired" and I can't add one more rep because it feels like the muscles ran "out of energy". I don't feel any sourness in my muscles the next day, however. Is this normal or should I alter how I train somehow?

    A stupid question about handstands.

    Posted: 15 Jul 2020 09:40 PM PDT

So on my skill days I've been working on my handstands and I'm doing assisted handstands with my face against the wall. Two days ago on my first try I managed to do 1min handstand, but ever since then I feel strange pain in my left arm and forearm whenever I do handstands. I don't experience the pain in my strength workout or during the day, only when doing handstands. Could I have injured myself or maybe my form is incorrect or is it normal?
