Weight Loss: Looking for Advice |
| Posted: 28 Jun 2020 04:18 PM PDT Hello my name is Joseph and 22 years old male looking for some advice. People tend to be fairly rational and reasonable here so i figured i would post even though i was hesitant. I guess ill go ahead and start off by saying i was diagnosed with post concussion syndrome about 3-4 years ago from a concussion i received in boxing class. Doctors pretty much told me there was no cure and so ive been on a journey trying to figure out why im still experiencing symptoms following my concussions years later. Before i received my first concussion , i was an extremely active dude, training 2-3 times daily. Currently and unfortunately to say i am almost handicapped compared to what i used to be. The good news is i have self diagnosed myself fairly well so i guess ill go ahead and start. I started weigh-training when i was about 12 and i received some not so great advice from someone whos name i am going to keep confidential. He basically told me that i could just train my upper body and not really worry about anything else( i know this is not smart you commenting telling me this is dumb doesn't do anything i was 12 i know that you need to train the rest of your body). I proceeded to do this for the next 4-5 years and put on about 50 pounds towards the end of my highschool years in mostly my chest and some in my shoulders and arms. I recently lost 20 of that and am sitting at about 150 pounds. I noticed when i had lost that weight some of my symptoms improved fairly well. I truly believe the reason why i am still experiencing these symptoms is obviously based upon the fact that i had put on all that weight causing my posture to take a dive and giving me a slight hunch. I burned myself out dieting the first time and was maybe looking for some advice. It has been hell these past 4 years dealing with this but i know i am going to get out this. I really want to get back into jiu jitsu and being active with my friends but cant really since i still experience symptoms. Thankyou for taking the time for reading this its been one heck of a journey i am still fairly young and am looking to get back to being active. If anyone can give me some advice about how to diet or anything else from my testimony to loose the rest of the 20-25 pounds i would really appreciate it. I am not looking for handouts just any basic advice would help since i was eating about 600 calories a day to 1500 calories on other days to loose the initial 20, but its hard being consistent with that. Thankyou for your time it means a lot. [link] [comments] |
| Started Taking PhenQ. Need thoughts and opinions on this please! Posted: 28 Jun 2020 11:40 AM PDT Hey Everyone. I am familiar with the slippery slope that is diet pills and no I do not believe in them 100 percent, but I have seen them work really well in conjunction with diet and work out. I had a terrible experience with oxyelite pro years ago and stopped using supplements all together ,but i am now also facing a much more difficult journey since my lower back and SI injury. So I cant go full throttle and its easier to experience set backs. I need to start losing weight with some results and I decided to try PhenQ after doing some research. I noticed that there is not much reviews or recent information on the product and so I just want to make sure this is not something dangerous. It claims to be all natural and so I'd like to get more feedback on this. Thoughts opinions etc? [link] [comments] |
