    HEY YOU,

Have you taken any recent pics of those sweet gains, your human flag, or those handstands off the wall you're finally holding?

Do you have other bodyweight fitness accomplishments you've made and want the world to know about because your friends and family can't appreciate how hard L-sit progressions are??

Note that we aren't limiting you to what we're discussing on the FAQ. Show us anything that blew your mind the moment you realized you had it. This may include aspects of: gymnastics, climbing, parkour, weight loss/gain, posture, etc. They are all more than welcome in this thread.

We also want to remind you that we've been sharing your content on @redditbwf on both Instagram and Twitter. Help us grow our sub's social media in order to reach out to non-Redditors across these other platforms!

JEFF CAVALIERE - ATHLEAN X on London Reel

    Posted: 07 Mar 2020 04:03 PM PST

I know Jeff is not 100% loved by everyone here but thought this was worth checking out.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yvMVoQdDG0

Personally I like his videos, he goes a little off topic for me sometimes, I'm solo callisthenics, and I am not a regular listener to London Reel.

As a summery, Jeff talks about exercise and nutrition, with the bulk of that being about nutrition. about half the interview is available on youtube the rest is on the london reel website.

Those of you who can Planche, how close to the center line of your waist (roughly) do you place your hands and work from there?

    Posted: 07 Mar 2020 03:38 PM PST

I'm currently on my planche lean and I'm wondering how far should I keep working at before I can decide that I don't need to continue increasing my lean.

I'm 177cm, ~84kg and I can so far lean ~75 off the wall (heading barely touching the wall) to do pseudo-planche push ups. Do I keep pushing until my hands are roughly half way (aka 88.5cm lean off the wall)?

If you're wondering how I'm working on my planche lean, I'm following fitnessfaq's planche pro program.

This is the exercise method I'm working on:

Smolov Jr for Chin Ups: How I increased my chin up from 5x32kg added weight to 4x39kg added weight in 4 weeks at 67 kg bodyweight

    Posted: 08 Mar 2020 03:34 AM PDT

After going through this post https://www.reddit.com/r/bodyweightfitness/comments/3e70kx/concept_wednesday_smolov_jr_for_weighted_chins/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share I decided to it give a try.

I managed to increase my chin ups after plateauing for about a month from 5x32 kg added weight to 4x39 kg. Week 2 I added 5 kg and week 2 I added 4 kg.

    Summary of sets and reps:

    Week 1: 6x6x12 7x5x17 8x4x23 10x3x28

    Week 2: 6x6x17 7x5x22 8x4x28 10x3x33

    Week 3: 6x6x21 7x5x26 8x4x32 10x3x37

Week 4 is for resting and testing new RM.

This program does what is claims it does. I am a step closer now to achieving a OAC and am considering running it again in a couple of weeks.

Which exercise(s) with a resistance tube work the back like a pull up?

    Posted: 08 Mar 2020 11:59 AM PDT

Also, is this a decent workout plan: pushups (chest), plank (core), jump rope (legs), resistance tube (back)?

I don't need anything elaborate. I look fit just from eating clean.

    Humanflag Traning :(

    Posted: 07 Mar 2020 03:54 PM PST

Cannot train for the human flag because I'm not even able to hold the tuck flag. Any good exercises for that? (I wanted to start weighted calisthenics now, but I dunno if this helps) I'm 175cm tall, 80 KG and 18 years old. I'm traning since 1,5 years :D
